People always praise this anime and think it is very beautiful, but when I say I just can't watch the anime they ask "why". My answer always is, "as beautiful as the anime is...it is way too slow for me". People usually understand that point and then say, once you get halfway through, it'll get better. That doesn't change the fact that I can't get past the part that I am at. The anime's pacing is not fit for me and I'm not even close to halfway through. It is hard to focus and let all of the good parts of the anime sink in if you are distracted by how slow the anime is.
Overall, the anime is very nicely made and from the parts that I've watched, it seems like it is a beautiful anime, but since it is so slow, I can't get into the anime and can't feel what the writers want me to feel...also, I've already had the anime spoiled. I feel that if the anime hadn't been so hyped up for me, I might have been able to get to the part everyone loved so much.
