Story- 7.5
As you could tell from the title, the story is about 2 terrorists blowing up buildings. Why? You dont exactly get to know why until the last few episodes. The story gives very small hints that eventually add up and explain the reasoning behind these terrorist attacks.
Art- 8
The character design looked rather plain to me after finishing this anime. But those backgrounds just made my eyes melt. It’s almost like I was in Tokyo during the night time scenes. The backgrounds were always so detailed.
Sound- 6
The english voice acting in this anime was atrocious. That’s really the only reason I put sound as a 6. The OST was very peaceful. The music was paced very nicely depending on the situation. The opening song was something that I made sure not to skip. Very different then what other anime use for openings.
Character- 6
Nothing to special. Like the story, the backstories of the 2 main characters were slowly introduced overtime until the very end. Just to address the elephant in the room. The heroine was god awful. Your classic damsel in distress. Throughout the entire story, she was just dumb, useless, and extremely apologetic.
Ending- 9
I think the ending was very good. It revealed the motives behind the main characters, and created a situation where fans can’t beg for a sequel.
Enjoyment- 8
I enjoyed this a lot but ill admit, not everyone will enjoy this anime. Very intense first half of the anime which hooked me in. If you watch this and plan on recommending it to friends, just be a bit selective on who those people are.
