After having finally finished this anime, all I can really say is that it provided a good simple story about growth, work, and self-discovery.
The characters each were given a certain amount of screen-time to make them feel entertaining and important to the story, but frankly they suffered from clichéd writing, which in my opinion, betrayed a meaningful progression.
My main gripe with this anime and the reason I'm writing this review is because it took me almost a whole year to watch the whole thing. It had good ideas going for it and at times I could really sympathize with the characters, however, the majority of this journey suffered from a prolonged pacing which made me disinterested in watching more than a single episode at a given time.
I had so much trouble giving my full attention to this show that I often felt like dropping it because I couldn't care less about what followed any episode I'd previously watched.
The anime was really pretty however and had gorgeous backgrounds. The sound quality was also really good, with a catchy intro to motivate several repetitions.
Overall however, I wouldn't recommend this show unless you've had a meaningful work experience at some point in life or appreciate the effort it takes to create anything worthwhile. Otherwise, the pacing can easily create lost interest.
