My Review:
I have to say that Nisekoi isn't really one when it comes to bringing something new to the table, considering the plot is something that has been done already (*Cough... Love Hina) but for some reason, this anime / manga series really brings, something interesting to the table, something that wasn't done in Love Hina or other animes / mangas that had a similar plot.
First off. Nisekoi's animation is quite interesting for me. It has all of these bright and vibrant colors along with a very slight fade to it. Especially those scenes when Raku and Onodera have a "moment" . Those scenes look the best to me, I don't why. Along with the drawing style of the characters just seem to work so well.
The story is okay. Its really nothing but mediocre material that all of us have seen before, but I like it so far so I don't really care.
I would have to say that the characters are the highlight of this anime in my opinion. First theres Raku, obviously the guy that every single teen girl in this series is in love with. Some took slower to realize their lover for him (*cough Tsugumi / Haru) then you got that classic perverted and annoying best friend of the main character that gets the shit kicked out of him everyday by a tsundre for just being there or being perverted. Then we got supporting characters like Raku's and chitoges dads where, if they weren't in the anime / manga, the plot wouldn't have happened.
With a nothing but mediocre plot, average but fun characters, and with all of us doubtfully waiting for a season 3, I have to award this overall anime with an 8. Only cause I had a lot of fun watching / reading both the anime and the manga, and only cause the story could've been a little different and a little more original.
