Story: 9
The story in general is great, it's really nice and you can feel some romantic element in there. The only part that makes me feel a little bit unsatisfied is the last part of the last episode, which they don't really explain the reason as to why that happens. However, it is not going to stop me from not loving this story.

Art: 10 (I wish there was something even higher than 10)
Kyoukai no Kanata's visual can be simply put in 3 words: "Beyond the Boundary" (Yes, the English translation of the title of the anime), what I want to imply is that the artwork are just magnificent, it's beyond the boundary that holds back the quality of the animation of so many other anime series. In other words, from the perspective of an artist myself, I'd just say it's beyond gorgeous for a 2013 anime series, even at the time of this review was being made (2016), there are a lot of anime series whose artworks are nowhere near the level of Kyoukai Kanata. Splendid job Kyouto Animation.

Sound: 10
The musics and sound effects in general are great. I especially love "Yakusoku no Kizuna", a song inserted in the episode 6 of the series.

Character: 9
The main characters are Akihito and Kuriyama.
Kuriyama is truly deserved the title that Akihito gives her, she's "Megane no Bishoujo" (Bespectacled Beauty). She is simply so superb, so adorable. She even has a catchphrase, which is "Fuyukai desu", which is extremely cute and memorable to me for some unknown reasons. Also, throughout the series, you can see her development as the result of interacting with Akihito.
Speaking of Akihito, I don't know if it's because he's literally immortal or not but he doesn't fight at all (He only fights a bit in the last episode), which is a little bit disappointed. Also, I can't help but feel like his role is nothing but being a shadow, being a factor that helps stand out Kuriyama Mirai. To put simply, I feel like there aren't really anything going on with him.
The rest of the characters are good, each of them has their role and is also an important part of the story (except for the teacher)

Enjoyment: 10
I totally felt superb as I was watching this anime, just as simple as that.

To wrap this up, total score: 48 + 2 points from my love for Kuriyama-san = 50/50. It's simply a masterpiece to me. I'd recommend this anime to anyone who wants to have a good show to enjoy. You don't have to necessarily love it like I do but it's definitely worth watching.
