The story line in Fairy Tail starts off really well. A girl named Lucy Heartfilla has a main goal; to become a Fairy Tail wizard. She meets a boy named Natsu Dragonell. He is a inmature, fire dragon slayer belonging to Fairy Tail. He becomes friends with him, and he helps her join Fairy Tail, a poplaur gulid, said to be the most powerful one in the entire world. It is full of idiots like Natsu, such as Gray Fullbuster, a boy who loves to take off his shirt. Lucy soon becomes a mage, and she becomes a celstrial wizard, and is given keys to bring spirits out to fight. Lucy joins a team with Natsu, his talking cat Happy, Gray, and a red hed named Erza Scarlet. They become Fairy Tail's strongest team, and they go on missions to stop evil basicly. Also, wizards have all sorts of magic, like Gray has ice magic for example. All wizards use magic in order to fight, and the more they use it, the less they have. Then they have to rest in order to regan magic power.
The storyline gets better as it goes on. You'll be sure to wonder what happens next to each of the characters. Many of the fight scenes will make you be on the edge of your seat. Plenty of episodes end in cliff hangers, so you will get hooked on to it. Like I said, It gets better as the storyline goes on. The first episode enough should catch your attintion. You will also be sure to love all the characters and the humor too!
The soundttrack is amazing, just amazing....I have never seen an anime like Fairy Tail has such a well made soundtrack. Its beautiful. The OPS and ENDS songs are great, and almost all of them are catchy or lovable. I sometimes listen the the songs for hours straight. It never gets old.
This anime does have filler. I can understand why some people didn't like the anime, because of the annoying fillers and that filler arc. It does get in the way, but after awhile, it starts to get enjoyable. Many of the fillers are really funny, and i still end up loving it. It's quite easy to get hooked on to it in my opinion. The fillers aren't even as such as it seems. People go on and on on how horrible the fillers are, and how the anime has soooo many fillers, but when you think about it, Fairy Tail doesn't have that much fillers. The fillers are no where as much as Naruto and One Piece fillers, which are anime full of fillers. Fairy Tail doesn't even come close. It has a fair amount, but its quite low. I am sure you will like at least one filler in this anime, even if you hate fillers.
The characters are one of my favorite things about this anime. I love the large amount of characters. A lot of characters like Lyon seem like they will never appear again, but they do! Characters like him are supporting, but they are there for a reason. Many of the characters have such great quotes, such as Erza and Natsu, it makes it so touching.... ( T _ T ). The character development is fantastic. Many characters such as Lucy started off weak, but as the series goes on, they become stronger, and braver. You'll se what I mean when you watch the anime.
It is mainly a funny, action packed anime, but it has really sad scenes that can make people cry.....I have seen it. It's very touching......( T _ T )
For overall enjoyment, Fairy Tail is one of the most enjoyable anime out there! It is full of laughs, friendship, love, action, and fan serivce.....but it is still a lot of fun to watch, it is a anime you will have a hell off a lot of fun to watch!
This is a MUST WATCH! If you really love those poplaur long running action shouenen anime, give this one a shot. If you really enjoy fantasy and magic, this to be one of the best choices. For a person who is new to anime, I think it would be a great idea to watch it. The story line is pretty easy to follow, and I think you'll really enjoy. This might not be a anime for everyone, but I think everyone should give it a shot.
