At first I thought the middle unmotivated protagonist (as always have that disagreement in the past), was solved very easily because Reina did not hurt, she just decided to improve and improve to be '' special ''.
The character development in general is very good, the anime revolves not only around Kumiko, shows how is the current situation of the characters, the house of them has a frustration something that bothers them, I think it's very good because I want to know what you want they feel, their opinions and that's what they did not let any of it go, that feeling of them nervous and anxious I could feel real.
The music is spectacular, they may have started bad but were overcoming every obstacle, I think there at that club again and many tried to give up (as well as Aoi-chan) but I think the feeling of reaching the National was stronger, some did not like others, others needed more training, but never gave up their goals !! And it had a great help from the teacher, he was very rude but it all had a purpose, was not an act in vain. And I can say that much worth the rudeness of it.
Kumiko and Reina, I do not really like them both together as a couple, but I see them as best friends, one helping the other in difficult times (although I suspect the only Reina like the Taki same sensei).
