I don't want to make this long and drawn out so here it is: This anime is literal AIDS. I could maybe say the art is OK, but that's about it. There are chicken nuggets that can develop characters better, and ignorant time skips ruin what could have been amazing. As someone who's developed story boards and thought about the hate on this series extensively I can, without a second thought, say that if I taught a college class about writing a general story board I would use this series as an example of wasted potential. If they took out the time skips and made the characters more interesting I could actually see myself giving this a 10/10. Between the first season, where they should have made less time skips and the second season, where they made yet another unnecessary virtual world, this series is the embodiment of wasted potential and for lack of a better word, the fuck up of the century. Like where the hell the Sword Art go?
