I swear anime has a way of making food look more appealing than it really is, which is exactly what they are doing in this anime. Although they stick to the genre of the anime, which is food, they placed way to many characters in this anime.
The plot continuity is still very well done, I just feel that with a little less useless characters, they could have spent a lot more time on the main characters and made sure that all of them under went character development throughout the anime. In the end I feel only two main characters had the most development.
But in the end it was still a very good anime overall, so I would still recommend this anime if you want a change of pace.
