Boku Dake Ga Inai Machi, or Erased (in English), tells a marvelous tale and uses a very unique anime that I would recommend to anyone of any anime watching level, whether it is at beginner level, or a straight up anime binge-watcher.

It is unique in a sense that every minute is something you have to pay attention to. The story is so full of plot that you don't want to stop the episode at any moment. Personally, I don't remember a time when I had stopped any episode because it was that intense to watch, hence why I gave it a 10.

The art is a 10 for me, although some may say the art is on and off. I get why some would say that because animation isn't always perfect, and that showed in some cases here. But there's one reason why I rated the art a 10: emotion. The story shows so much emotion throughout the entire thing, and the art schemes make you feel the emotion with the characters. This may not be perfect, but the emotions captured in this anime do make it a 10.

The only part of sound I'll talk about are the songs. I rated it a 10 because the music during the episodes really brings a finish to the emotion that is being portrayed. The OP "Re: Re" by Asian Kung-Fu Generation is catchy in its own right, and the ED is a very good way to leave viewers wanting to know more, or just leave them awe-struck, courtesy of "Sore wa Chiisana Hikari no you na" by Sayuri.

Character for me is a straight up 10. The anime provides so much character development in each episode, that it is kind of hard not to notice. Even in the final episodes, there is character development that can clearly be seen.

Enjoyment is obviously a 10 for me (after talking about it so much XD) and overall is, again, obviously a 10. This series is definitely worth a watch for anyone that wants to watch anime, and it gets my vote for best anime of the winter 2016 season.
