At first when I watched it at a club, I thought it was "one" of those fanservice anime in which the plot basically revolved around the sexual appeal to the characters. But I somehow made through several episodes and the story became more interesting.

Yes there the fanservice, but if you were able to go past that, its an enticing story of determination and constantly asking what one is trying to fight for. What stood out most at that time was a ridiculously powerful villain with a very good soundtrack. Whenever I heard it, I would know she is coming. All her actions were meticulously planned for years, she is heartless as she use her own daughters to complete her plan and just never seem afraid when something appears to go wrong.

It also have comedy moments and bits of sadness. After watching several episodes, I could stop watching till very late at night. An interesting note is that this is created by the same author who wrote Gurren Lagann. Anyways, if you are like me who want a good story anime "not fanservice", but willing to moving past certain aspects of it, it is well recommended you should watch it.
