Well, I thought I would skip this animé from my watchlist because of the MUSIC genre but the ratings inclined me to watch it, thinking it might be some worth of it, and guess what, it lived up-to the expectations! (Maybe even more than expected) This animé is one you should watch if you haven’t tried the music genre any-time before.

Here are some thought-inducing ideas around which the animé revolves :
-> The effect of music on life!
-> Inner-conflicts
-> Past-conflicts
-> School love/First Love
-> How music can effect your life, your thoughts and help overcome the difficult times!
-> What are you willing to give the world before you die?
-> Stay away from your love for their good-sake
-> Mommy was doing that for a reason!
-> Finding yourself!
-> No matter how hard it gets, you gotta do what you do best!
-> Best friend falls in love with you, you fall in love with someone else! (T_T)
-> Letting go of past!
-> Lies told for a good reason isn’t a sin.
-> Music can be your high!
-> Your crush on your best-friends girl!

There may be many more thought provoking concepts you might find in the animé, but the above mentioned striked me the most and the only ones I was able to remember(Sorry, I have a very bad memory). There are a lot of reasons you should be watching this animé for, lemme try to put them down for you.

Story : What should I say about this! The plot is beyond perfection. Two childhood friends growing up together, a school love triangle (actually a quadrilateral) as starters to grip your attention and interest in the animé. Perfect comedy and punches. Cute, caring bonds between people. The midway will start getting a bit frustrating and the latter a bit emotional; BUT THE END! DAMN! You will understand what the animé's title meant in the last episode and believe me when I say, here the perfection was perfected! One of the best endings I’ve ever came across in the animé! You just feel satisfied at the end! Till the last episode the things are just falling apart, like sand in hand, everyone trying to mend and fix it but the end makes the things fall in the right places! I’ve always been moved by animés with great climax and that's what everybody out there all wants, isn’t it? A great climax! I guarantee you, you will not get bored even for one episode! The soothing music to your ears, the sudden emotional rushes, the vibes, the goosebumps! You name it, you have it! You just gotta feel it!

Art : All in all, a good one. Animation is good. Backgrounds decent and plot-suitable. Nothing that itches your eyes. But nothing super-awesome or exceptional or something. A good A-1 production animé.

Sound : The openings are good but the endings were oki-doki types. Seiyuu's did an excellent job. The background music is touching and right as the scene demands it to be. The Music genre is beautifully displayed. The compositions that are played are touching, intricately chosen for the plot. No complains whatsoever.

Character : The place where the animé excels! A struggling artist who is struggling to maintain his past awesomeness (couldn’t think of another word) as the male protagonist. The encouragingly motivating, beautiful, super-cute, caring, perfect female protagonist (I might sound like I’m fan-boying but believe me every guy who has ever watched the animé will have the same opinion on her). Perfect third-wheel/supporting characters who may not seem important but if they weren’t the way they were portrayed, the plot would’ve sucked! The biggest success cliché of animé history : Every protagonist must have a rival! So does this animé! Perfect rivals. Perfect characterization.

Enjoyment : I said it before, I say it again, you wont get bored! A bit frustrated by the struggle of the protagonist and a bit emotional (I hate getting emotional so that's why), but never feel dragged. Though there are no unwanted cliff-hangers or something, but you will look forward towards the next episode!

Conclusion : This animé should be on your watch-list! If not then, I don’t know what should be! If you are a fan of music, music fan as in the fan of the classical music with all those complicated instruments, this animé is your paradise! And if not, even better! You better try this animé and start loving the classical musical (speaking through experience, because I was the latter type of the person). Great animé for a switch from the mainstream genres! Don’t shun it because of the music genre or the cover image of the animé! Its worth your watch!
