That was just what the anime did to me. Making me stay up to 5 am in the morning, because of this anime is representative of how good it is.
The story leaves something to be desired. It is a light-hearted drama, not as tear-jerking as others, but I'm sure to leave many people teary-eyed. Simple story, simple premise. It shows what is normally a boring life an exciting turm, and shows a different perspective, which may not happen in real life, somehow is believable, and really gives an impression that you can relate to the story.
Art is something that is very good. Simple character designs, but really amazing to look at. Something seems of about the design of the main character sometimes, but most of the times, they manage to make them cute. The background images and sceneries are also very beautiful.
Soundtrack of this anime is extremely relaxing and appropriate. This would be on par with the best anime sounds if not for one thing. The extremely unnatural and annoying voice for the opening and closing theme song. Overall, the sounds are appropriate and magnifies emotions that were present for the situations.
The characters on this anime, seems like people you might meet and know in real life. Everyone has their own moments, and are very likeable and relatable. The only thing is that in real life, the rash actions for Ohana is not having enough consequences in real-life situations. The love stories for this anime is probably happening to many of those watching.
This is a very enjoyable anime, with funny scenes, sad scenes, something relatable. Depicts the slice of life genre really well.
Overall a great watch. Even though I just stumbled upon this anime on accident, and not as famous as let's say clannad or your lie in april, it is still great with loads of light dramas, relatable characters, I recommend this anime to those who like slice of life anime as a must-watch.
