Story 10/10
The story of Erased focuses on Sotaru our MC who has a time travel ability that lets him go back in time to prevent tragedy's a few minutes before they happen. On one of these occasions he gets sent back years instead of minutes to when he is a kid in order to stop a 15 year old tragedy. I do not want to say what it is for spoiler reasons. It is a bit of a dark story with some dark themes. Apart from that The pacing in the story is perfect and they know where to end unlike many time travel stories seen in modern fiction where the writers do not focus on the delivery of an end.
Art 9/10
The art in the series is good especially mixed with all the lighting and snow. The character designs are not bland but are colorful and memorable. The antagonist had a interesting character design that made me think trouble was afoot with his appearance in some scenes.
Sound 9/10
There is some good music in the original soundtrack but its does not leave and big impression on me. The only music that left a impression on me is the opening theme that gives a good vibe of what your going into. The most major sound effects used are snow and cars. The character voices are done well and fit the attitude of the characters.
Characters 9/10
Our MC his mother and some of his classmates are very intriguing characters that help move the story. The antagonist is interesting but not too interesting when I think about it. Most of the characters in the past timeline sit with me well but the characters in the future did not get as much development as needed to make the viewer think highly of their role in the story.
Enjoyment 10/10
I consider my enjoyment a ten because I watched the series in a total binge because I desperately wanted to watch the next episode. This usually how I know I'm enjoying the show. Also this show made me feel happy afterwards because did not feel like I wasted my time watching it.
