The first episodes were good. I got entertained and I had a certain binding to the characters. I really liked the slight romance aspect of the anime. Kayo is a really cute character but the whole focus on her just drops when they decide to end the anime as a crime anime. The ending is in fact not the worst BUT I feel like they changed author because the ending has a completely different style. It just drops all the attention kayo got in the previous episodes. The protagonist loses 15 years and I simply hated how his friends reacted to this. You dont see any emotion about him coming back, nothing. They simply visit him and help him to get the murder. Why did they focus so much on kayo in the beginning? Were they planning a 48 episodes anime? Because that would have been good.
I feel like the anime has two different stories. The first is a romance, slice of life and drama story the second a crime-fiction anime. You could write a much better romance, slice of life and drama story out of the first 8 episodes and another much better crime story out of the last 3 episodes.
