There was a time I was actually a huge fan of Haruhi. In fact I used to dance to Hare Hare Yukai daily, or even listen any one of the versions of the song often. Then this happened. Since seeing this season my love for Haruhi, and this series would slowly turn to hate.
Why did my feelings change? The simple answer would be Endless Eight. Eight episodes wasted on the exact same thing. Since I would binge seasons at the time I felt as if I wasted four hours on nothing. It was so pointless, and painful to go though. I'm surprised that I didn't just drop the series after the first 3 episodes.
Then after the trials of endless eight you are presented with Mega Bitch Haruhi who doesn't seem to give a fuck about anyone expect for herself, and would abuse Mitsuru so much that I wouldn't be surprised that the poor girl wishes to kill Haruhi.
There are not many characters I would feel a burning hatred for. After this season, Haruhi was added to the list.
