The show is over the top and never takes itself too seriously. The show is very fast paced and straight forward starting episode 5 and on wards There is never a dull moment and there is plenty of exposition as the action is happening. There are some plot twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The animation is not the best due to the limited budget, but it is consistently good the majority of the time. Very good music wise: the first and second opening get you in a great mood for the ridiculousness that is Kill La Kill. The characters are not the deepest, but they are ridiculous, funny, and over the top. Notice a common theme here? The show is very much like Gurren Lagann and in order to enjoy it, you really have to turn your brain off. Overall a very over the top show that never takes itself too seriously and is thus a lot of fun.
