Guilty Crown is breathtakingly beautiful. Despite its flaws (there are many) this anime will captivate you and confine you to its clutches until its bittersweet end (only if you don't die from depression/exasperation between episodes 12 and 15-ish).
The art, music, and Shakespearean twists in the otherwise nonexistent plot lend this anime a dreamlike quality. And when I say dreamlike, I mean it literally, not metaphorically. Watching Guilty Crown is like having one really messed up dream - it makes sense when you're having the dream, but afterwards you're like "Wait... why did I go on an epic and dangerous quest into the depths of Mordor to find my car keys... and why... did my keys actually turn out to be a hamburger?". This is the essence of Guilty Crown -a combination of epic action, transparent characters, and nonsensical plot.
I gave this anime a 7/10. I'd love to see the plot and script redone because this anime had the potential to be a masterpiece.
