It starts out so funny, so full of life. It's the great anime comedy, and then... it goes dark, really dark. And it never really comes back. True, the show has some funny moments in later episodes but it doesn't little to alleviate the tone. Rikka is adorably weird, before the show gets dark with her. And Yuuta, well, let's just say what comes around goes around.
Not much to say about the VA, the only I recognized just by sound was Brittney Karbowski as Dekomori, and that's because she uses the same voice as 'Last Order' from A Certain Magical Index.' If I've heard the rest before, then well done, they've got serious range. I hope all the VAs continue to get work because they're very good.
I had to pause the episodes several times in order to let the more 'emotional' moments sink in. (One of the advantages of watching online.) It's made by Kyoto Animation so expect quality art there.
