I'm not going to analyse this in detail as I'm not good with detailed analysis but the second season spends way too much time on the Endless Eight Arc spending about half the seasons worth. Not only being way too long but also being just constant repeats of episode two from slightly different angles and altered dialogue most of it still being the original dialogue. Furthermore the rest of the season was not too entertaining as first season as it kind of felt like that Kyoto Animation ran out of ideas to keep the season a full 14 episodes and therefore decided to repeat one episode over and over which really brought the quality down. In my opinion it would have been better to make the season smaller than to fill it with repeated content.
Final thoughts on this series are that the second season was entertaining at the start and then got really repetitive with content, towards the end of the series the story began to get confusing. A lack of effort from Kyoto Animation really creates some negativity for the reputation of Kyoto Animation. If you plan on watching the series episodes from 3-4 are useless to the arc and that you skip ahead as it is pretty much just a repeat of the same episode, in addition episode 1,2 and 5 are pretty much a repeat but contain bits of the story is order to understand what is happening. I personally might re-watch this if I'm bored but other than that I will probably not come back to it. I would not recommend you watch this if you get bored easily.
