I went into Erased blind. I didn't know the plot, didnt know the concepts, didnt know a thing about it. As time went on I was almost expecting a series that was similar in nature to "The Butterfly Effect" only to be disappointed when things didn't quite go that way. Never the less the show was definitely an enjoyable one. There were times I had tears in my eyes, times i felt fury, and times i just couldn't predict where it was going to go. I absolutely loved that. The characters were amazing, and acted so much like a real person would in the situation it's no wonder they made a life action adaptation. The music to be honest, I didnt notice much. But the music I did hear fitted it well and set the tone perfectly for each scene. There is a lot of symbolism in the show and it takes a keen eye to pick up on it all but it makes the experience all that more enjoyable if you try to interpret the shots. My main issue however with the story, besides the Butterfly Effect thing, is that the villain is all too predictable. Especially if you pick up on that symbolism, if you pay close attention to the background, and if you pay close attention to things that are said. Infact I didn't know who it was until i heard a single line when they were going over the reports but that line was all that it took. Most people probably wont catch it though or connect the dots like I did. Either way, its a fun ride. It's a good story and while it doesn't do time travel perfectly like say Steins Gate, it still is a good option to watch for those that do enjoy those types of stories.
