Shiki (Anime) add (All reviews)

This isn't really a review.. it's more like my opinion of Shiki and why is one of my favorite.

There are always shows that you will love so much at the point in time when you finish it and don't care about flaws. You enjoyed something so much and will become one of your favorite...

This is what I'm feeling about Shiki. Everything was perfect for me. Even if the story has some issues, even if some characters weren't that great, even if the animation could've better on some point, Shiki remembers me everytime why I'm still watching anime:
In this ocean of harems, moe, generic characters and stories exists some animations that you'll remember for a long time and will make you question yourself about its story .
In the end
Who are the real monsters?
The Shiki?
Or the humans?
This is your decision .

Is something else, is unique.

Yeah, vampires are extremly popular in shows and books like Twilight, Owari no Seraph, The vampire Diaries,True Blood, Vampire Academy (I can contiune all day), but they lack in execution and are very stupid. Vampires shouldn't be attractive and desperate after sexual relationships and they shouldn't live in an expensive penthouse for the delight of annoying fangirls who want to be their lovers. That's not right.

Vampires are everywhere nowadays, but beside Shiki, Hellsing Ultimate and a movie and a book named Interview with a vampire written by Anne Rice I couldn't find something good.

At the beginning Shiki is very slow paced, but after episode 9 I couldn't stop watching it.
If I am objective I would give a 7, but because I love it so much and I was feeling so good at the end a 9 is the right choice .

" Don’t you find it…ironic? I really killed so much people…I may really be an atrocious mass murderer, but i still don’t consider the number of people I killed to be something big. There is no God for us to pray at times like this. There is no one to seek help from. No justice to be upheld in our case. Since I am a murderer. But I becoming a murderer was not because of my ideology, nor because of my view on values. If I’m left without human blood, I’ll die, as simple as that…I became what I am because of the bloodthirsty providence. Muroi-san, this is what having been abandoned by God means…"
