One thing that is so unique about grimgar is that grimgar's story heavily relies on the main protagonist, haruhiro. As haruhiro grows and slowly transitions into the unknown world, the story gradually progresses. The story's pacing might either be a hit or a miss for most viewers. For me, it was a hit.
Art and sound 10/10
Also, the art and ost plays a huge role in the anime. The art and ost creates the overall ambience to the anime, it was something unique only to grimgar, i cant find the words to describe the feeling while looking at grimgar's art and hearing the soundtracks. The colors used in grimgar really does a good job in showcasing the tone and feelings of the characters.

All in all grimgar has that really unique feel to it, it's a cool yet pleasant slow-paced anime. If youre searching for an anime with great character development and art, Grimgar is the way to go. Best winter anime 2016.
