The story isn't very outstanding at all, like pretty much every Shounen anime that exists. Though it is probably the lack of story that makes me keep watching Fairy Tail. Whenever I start watching an episode of Fairy Tail, I always hope that all the questions will be answered and all the puzzels will be solved. But in most cases, I get a new adventure or a filler, but that's okay. Really. Because that is why I keep struggling with Fairy Tail.
I'm really tired of people saying "this is not Fairy Tail anymore" or "it doesn't follow the manga". First of all it's boring if the series only follows the manga and why the hell wouldn't it be Fairy Tail? The biggest difference is the change of art style and I don't feel like the story has been changed, nor the characters. It's the freakin' same series but with a new name. That's all.
