The art is unique, looks a lot like the game art, I could say something I've never seen in any other anime.
The music is awesome, also the mixing and voice acting is really good, you feel immersed in the whole action.
The characters develop somehow slowly towards the end, there are some bad asses moments for each but still it I would say it's up to the viewer the perception they have on them, overall the show is enjoyable with many feels.
If you are into the apocalyptic setting and some gore, this is for you, I recommend to have patience for the series because the development can be slow for some part but it's a completely rewarding with many unique moments.
