A show that hooked me on time travel elements and kept me watching week to week because of the character development. It's flaws are evident. The mystery was never really there as the list of suspects was very small. I think I figured out the killer by episode 6. No plot twists here, so if you're looking for something mind blowing, this isn't for you.

To me, the characters are what made this anime a great experience. The first episode portrays the main character as jaded and uninspired but the journey that he goes through creates a solid "transformation". The supporting cast is also very strong here. Each character felt fleshed out to me. Without spoiling much, this anime will pull at your emotional side and I will admit I did tear up in one of the final scenes.

- No explanation for time travel

Overall, the characters were so well portrayed that I didn't really care about the over arching mystery. I loved seeing the characters week to week and that's where the majority of my enjoyment came.
