Story:
The anime is about a manga writer that has the ability to travel back in time when an accident occurs around him. He might travel 5 minutes into the past or several years. No one knows how you developed this ability but apparently it is very convenient for the plot. The story overall is very predictable and at some points, I was getting mad at the protagonist for his actions.
Art:
The anime doesn't have any intense fighting scenes or anything to that caliber. Just the main character walking around, talking to people etc. The art was good but nothing out of the ordinary.
Sound:
Nothing stood out to me. The opening song is catchy but you can't judge anime solely on the opening song. The soundtrack was mediocre, didn't really catch my attention unlike other animes, example: SteinsGate, Death Parade, AOT (Yes, AOT), FMAB...
Characters:
This is the biggest flaw of the anime. The secondary characters are interesting but they never do anything. You have the typical smart and strategic friend but nothing with him. The antagonist is boring and the anime didn't fully expand on his back story so there was no real connection on why he did the things that he did. The protagonist mother is probably mother of the year but they don't really show her struggle or why does the thinks she does. We don't know her motivation for being the type of woman she is. Now to the Protagonist. He is the most bland and irritable character i've ever seen. He is portrayed as a smart individual, who is always analyzing the situation but never does the right thing. The whole time, I was watching the anime, i was getting mad at him because of the dumb stuff he did. He acts out of character especially when he travel back in time.
Enjoyment:
Did not enjoy this anime at all for the reasons stated above. The characters do stuff to advance the story but we are never told why they are doing it or what is their motive. Why is the Mother so good? Why did the antagonist do what he did? None of the characters are fully developed except for the main character. The anime was rushed and didn't give the antagonist the correct back story so we could understand his motive like the manga did.
Overall:
This anime does not deserve to be in the top 10 list because it is overrated because every single episode ends with a cliffhanger. It doesn't rely on the characters or story to keep viewers watching, just cliffhanger after cliffhanger.
