Guys, this is my first review and I don't like to go into a lot of detail, so if you want a short, sweet review that you can read quickly then here you go. But wow, what a trilling ride that was. This anime may not be the best, but it certainly is one of the, if not, the top anime of winter 2016.

Story: 7/10
I will try to not include too many spoilers, although I might unintentionally give out a few. The concept of this time travel story is not new, as many have already stated. While the story does keep you interested throughout (it was nicely presented), it seems that 12 episodes are just not enough to explain all the plot elements in this series. For example, how did Satoru (the mc) get his power in the first place? Why did everyone automatically assume that he was the killer when he stumbled upon his mother's corpse? Honestly, if I had to say, the story of this anime isn't really anything special. Another downside of this is that it was too easy to figure out the murderer. However, the pace of the story is great and nicely done. If you're looking for something with a really deep plot, this may not be for you.

Art: 7/10
This is okay. Nothing extraordinary. The animation is pretty good, as expected of A-1 Pictures.

Sound: 9/10
This is one of the strong points of the anime. The soundtracks really stood out to me, especially the opening and the ending. Oh, the ending. I can't get it out of my head! The music really did well to enhance the feel/mood of the anime.

Character: 8/10
Let's see... Now, I didn't find any of the characters annoying. If anything, I really liked some of the characters, especially Satoru's mom. Best mom ever. Honestly. This is another great part of this anime that you shouldn't miss, as the characters really get you into the anime. You just want to see what they would do next, and how they are going to move the plot forward. There is plenty of character development too for Satoru, so those people who really care about characters can enjoy this anime.

Enjoyment: 9/10
I was thrilled to watch this anime, and I am still thrilled that I watched this. It seems to me that nothing in winter 2016 can really compare to this anime as for now, and anyone that is really into mystery, sweetness, and awesomeness (sorry, I really can't think of a better word as of now) should give this a try. Although there may be some problems in the story of the anime, it can easily be ignored (at least for me) due to the great focus of the another elements of the anime. I throughly enjoyed this anime, and this has been a great ride!

Overall: 8/10
Would you recommend this? YES
Is the manga or anime better? The manga (it explains more details and has a better ending)
