Seriously you'd be doing yourself a disservice by taking any of the negative reviews into account. I want to tell you that this is one of the greatest shows of all time without writing a synopsis. It's not shounen. So it avoids over dramatic voice acting or slap stick sappy comedy. It's a serious dark show but the best of all, it doesn't go overboard with the darkness. The nature of the story itself is dark, and the show doesn't try and unnecessarily add extra dark elements.
For a short series, it does an amazing job in character development without having to focus too much on every character. You get a very clear idea of what each character represents. There aren't any unnecessary plot twists so you'll never get the feeling that the author ran out of ideas.
I'm extremely bummed I have nothing to look forward to on Thursdays anymore. But that's okay since I'll have great memories from having watched the show.
