Ah right! Soon as I finished this Boku Dake I knew I had to write a review.

Story: It wasn't the first time I've seen a time travel series or animation. Prior to a time travel series I've already seen The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, but Boku Dake the anime was something new. Satrou is our main character and it just so happens he has a power called "revival", and this in turns lets him save lives by going back between 1 and 5 minutes. So the meat of the story comes in when Satoru is confronted with the murder of his mom and the past of Hinazuki, Kayo- a mysterious girl from his past.

Art: It was done fairly well so to say. The art is in Boku Dake is very refreshing and provides a new structure in usual japanese animation. One particular thing that stood out in Boku Dake is how it uses a specific color to describe the feeling of death. "Red" is almost always apparent and appears on all characters suspect of being a fugitive in the murder. The art also brings along a sort of nostalgic art or feel when we see Satoru recollect image of his past like a puzzle. Well done!!

Sound: Please listen to the opening... even if you don't like music the director has a way of making it work, as well as background music- to the ed of each episode making dread the sadness of Hinazuki's death. Complements to the music creators and their influence in making Boku Dake even more entrancing.

Character: The characters for me were unique and presented at a nice pace. I felt Satoru had a nice character development, as he came from a character who didn't thing that being a "hero", was possible as long as it was him. The story's quite beautiful and the characters that with it. On another positive note I also really really like Airi's character as she's no so much a character but a real person. Airi may not be a main character but I would love to see an OVA with her as a main character. Yeah I'm bias on that because we have Kayo fans as well.

Enjoyment: It'll be on my top favorite animes to watch that's for sure. From the story telling to the music and animation Boku Dake never fails to exceed my expectation. Even if there were times where I wanted not to cringe because of how cheesy a moment feels it's something special with each episode. This anime not only lets you relive your best moments or your I-don't-want-to-remember-moment with Satoru- expect in this case he gets a chance to change.

Overall: Judging by the ending of the anime Winter season, I'll have to find something new to look foward to. I'll only say this and that's get started on this anime RIGHT NOW!!!! Like I'm seriously sad if you won't check it out. Watch for one thing- that is the characters.... if Satoru is a real person I'd give him a hug for his bravery and kindness right now.
