I feel as if this manga came after a boom of the Yandere archetype, now we have it included at least as a partial feature in almost every harem story but I'd say that before Mirai Nikki hit it big it wasn't very common. For example Ranma 1/2 had a "crazy obsessed girl" who barely relates to the modern standards of Yandere even if the plot utility is the same. Maybe it has to do with japanesse culture caring too much for calm and nice girls, so editors wouldn't pass a sympathetic proactive girl until someone made the most over the top one, or maybe it's just a response to an audience too used to the standard harem mechanic. In any case, since 2006 the archetype has been solidified and we get stories where the yandere is the ideal match, like this one.

I doubt anyone will read this review to decide if they want to check this manga or not. Do you want a story where a yandere is the good girl? Then you'll read this, you don't have too many options to pick.

I'd say that besides the character being obsessive you don't have much craziness here. She stalks, glues hands and is overly present; but she never stops being just your regular sweet girl. Most of the time its just played for laughs and when someone confronts her it just falls into the "how do you it's really love if you just met him for plot convenience, it could had been anyone" formula that happens in almost every romance story. It's a formulaic and standard manga, but it's sweet and has a few moments and gags that you won't see in a regular romance. Including a happy ending that lasts a few chapters so you can get something out of the wait for the couple.

Overall, you know, if you want a yandere main interest just read this. It's literally the only thing that makes it special.
