Through the first half of the show, it stayed "meh" at best. I was in the mood for a show kind of like this, so I was alright with watching it, but it was a 4/10 at best, and it stayed a subpar harem anime.

Around where the first half ended, it became almost as much of a mess as Charlotte was. They'd introduce characters suddenly and then reveal a huge plot point about them, often making things feel really rushed and sudden.

There were also issues with characters. One of the characters was extremely annoying (Aoi). There was a character who's side of the story felt like it was given a great significance in the anime, but it really didn't add anything to what was going on. There was another character who is the only thing that made the latter end of the first half bearable, but she ended up practically disappearing altogether, despite the anime leaving large questions unanswered about her.

Why did this show get a 7/10 with all these issues? The last 3 episodes were phenomenal. The show starts to pick up around episode 7, but as I mentioned earlier, there are great parts in there, but it's also a huge mess at first. Despite the first half of the show being incredibly boring, there are so many ways the ending ties together various things that happened. The end is done incredibly.

At the moment, episode 11 is probably one of my favorite anime episodes ever. It is incredibly emotional, and it feels so fitting with everything that has happened. That alone is a worthwhile reason to watch.

Do I Recommend It?
If you're able to sit through 6 episodes of the most generic romance triangle ever, I would totally recommend it. The last 3 episodes were amazing, and they really brought the show together. While that does not justify the first half of the show being bland, I'm very happy I persevered and got to experience end.
