First, I was hesitant to watch this anime, yet everyone was talking about it. The story starts with Honoka, a second year in High School. One day she gets dreadful news that her school will be closing down, no longer accepting applications. One day, on her way to school, she stops at a school, featuring a School Idol group named A-Rise. The school would receive a ton of applications because of how popular the Idol Group was. Honoka comes up with the idea, for her and her best friends, Kotori, and Umi, to also be School Idols to hopefully keep the school from shutting down. There is many trial and errors in their adventure to become school idols, but they never stop trying!
