Of the anime I've seen Kaiji is a bit of a unique one. A third person narrator, a strange almost American art style, and almost entirely supported by its main character, almost never relying on its side characters. The uniqueness and sheer hype factor this show has is absolutely insane. The story had me feeling for Kaiji all the way from the very first scene to the very last scene." Seeing Kaiji get revenge on someone who wronged him is among the most satisfying things I have ever watched. Whether he beats the absolute shit out of someone or just mentally obliterates them, is so satisfying it felt good to see it . The narrator makes everything all the more exciting pushing you off the edge of your seat you where already on. The story is enjoyable and the art is cool as hell. To top it all off the op/eds are good and fun to watch. My review is so perfect because everything just worked. If you haven't seen Kaiji, do yourself the favor and go watch it.
