At first I thought, "oh this is going to a nice rom com, something casual to watch". Boy was I wrong! A few episodes in and I was already in tears. Maybe to others it was not a tear jerker, but some moments in the anime really reminded me of my own personal life. Not everyone has a rock star boyfriend, but I believe almost everyone has experienced heartbreak and felt lost at some point in their life, so it is an anime that is very relatable. I learned to love and care for the characters. At all times I found myself rooting for all the characters, not just the main ones. I definitely had my "OH NO,WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!?" moments. I was extremely conflicted while watching this anime, it even made me question most of my love life decisions. Although it was it's serious moments, NANA is loaded with comedy. It has an older dated art style, but it really adds to the atmosphere of the anime. I recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy a great story and shed a couple of tears.
