- Information: it says scifi, but there is maybe even more of a fantasy-like adventurous and journey-like vibe in this series.
- Excellently built and executed: everything flows smoothly, complex enough but quite easy to follow, maybe slow for some people, but definitely not boring. (Almost) never feels fake or awkward compared to other animes. Very atmospheric and beautiful at times.
- Excellent landscapes and sceneries, it's just pure enjoyment to watch, builds up atmosphere and fits to the mix.
- Music: spacious, wide sounding. There is ochestral and metal and some scifi-like too. Big plus for atmosphere and fits well.
- Sound quality and dynamics are perfect.
- Animation is not perfect, but it didn't bother me. It's not badly made, but it's simple. Visually characters are simple too, maybe even dull, but trust me, it really fits this series better than generic schoolgirls and -boys.
- Characters are not extraordinary deep and full fetched, but there are interesting ones too. Still, they are VERY likeable and you care about them.
- Overall: Well rounded, VERY atmospheric, emotional, story is deep, plot is unpredictable but unfolds smoothly.
