Your Lie in April is a masterpiece, filled with beatiful moments of joy and sadness. It's story deals with very mature themes such as loss and love and handles them in a very realistic way. The characters are really well done, all characters have layers to them and feel like real people. The main characters in particular have a lot of character development to them. The animation is specacular, filled with beautiful imagery and colors; for it has a different art style that I personally like. The color palette also changes depending on the mood of the main character, Arima Kousei. Now let's talk about the music, which is one the parts of this show. It is phenomenal, a nice spin on classical music on piano and violin. The Music also intensifies emotional moments, making them more sad/joyful. The openings/endings are perfect for the show as they include a lot of imagery and symbolism you will understand once you end the series.
