Hotarubi no Mori e displays pure, timeless, and unconditional love in the most magical way. The symbolic details made the movie for me. The music was exceptional, and perfectly timed. The backgrounds were very realistic to me and the summer scenes made me feel extremely nostalgic.
I felt deeply touched throughout the film, almost as if it gave me hope that this kind of love exists. There's something about this film that speaks to the soul, and although it might be heartbreaking for some, others like me might enjoy it for what it was.
Truly an beautiful depiction of pure, untainted, and sincere love. Definitely a must watch. It will warm your heart.
