1.cute and simple love story ,apart from been a sports anime cross game to me romantic anime , aoba and kou are center of story .best thing about cross game it doesn't too hard to be good at everything and focuses on story on a very realistic basis baseball teams in players are portrayed normal and how it should be . Aoba & Kou interaction are only dynamics which keep story together.simple fights ,and things which Aoba cant achieve kou does it for her.shows that even simple gestures mean a lot in long run.
2.The art is simple and cute you get to feel the Adachi vibe form characters pretty similar to his past works.
3.dialogue- its back bone of story witty interaction between Aobe n kou is a treat to watch even dialogue of side characters are well written
4.The opening track "natsu no inabikari" is light hearted song which grew on me with time
5.This story of course doesn't give u a masterpiece but its good enough to put a warm smile your face
