first thing first this anime is not for everyone people either love it or hate it there is no midway to start off this anime is all about talking and dialogues.as the name suggest this anime tells us about the ghost stories or monster stories which posses peoples due to their own doings
ART-- the art of bakemonogatari is cool since it is made by shaft studios you can have your hopes high and believe me you will not be disappointed
SOUND-- the sound is cool i would give an 8 there are different op for different characters and it gives a refreshing feeling
PLOT--this is the point where many people praise this series or start to hate it.this is all dependent on the viewers mind but if you plan to drop this i would recommend you to not to do so because all the juice of monogatari is in 2nd season bakemonogatari gives only the foundation to the series
CHARACTERS--- while the characters shown in the anime were cool and each one of them was equally likable but the best one was left out on this anime not to say she didn't even got 10 minutes of screen time and didn't said a single word but it does show all the main characters that are going to be there in the anime in the next seasons and arcs
RECOMMENDATION-- anyone who likes story or thinks that plot in an anime is more important the action/moe etc this is the one for you not to mention it is one of the most loved series of all time i know it's a bit boring and seems off in the beginning but i would recommend you to at least reach up till nisemonogatari where shinobu is properly introduced and believe me you will appreciate this anime as much as i do
