Death Note is by far one of the most interesting anime I have ever watched. The storyline is very unique and the main characters are far from boring. This anime plot is just so different from all the other anime plots I've come across. The story is very suspenseful, but luckily there is some comic relief in most episodes. The characters are all very different, and it's hard to hate any of them. This anime will definitely get you thinking and it will definitely keep you at the edge of your seat.
There are very few things I do not like about this anime. The tension is very thick at the end of the series, and the comic relief has dissipated around this time. While I enjoy the suspense, I feel there has to be something in there to give you a smile or two. Also, some of many peoples favorite characters are killed off. Even though it adds to the storline and helps it progress, I honestly think some of those deaths could've been avoided.
Other than that, I think this anime was outstanding. I would recommend it to any anime lover.
