This was one of the few animes that really got me on the edge of my seat. I found the art amazing, although the characters' outfits are not as complicated as other animes that I have seen. I feel like the writer's choice of clothing for them added a touch of realism, like the characters actually have a connection to reality. That's also what made this series so thrilling and addictive at the same time, that connection. I remember starting out at episode 1, and ending up at episode 15 on the same day. I suppose that's not healthy, but watch the anime, and it will become evident that you too, cannot move from your seat.
The artwork for this anime is simply astounding. It's very simple, but at the times where it matters, the level of skill picks up. I picked out a few hilarious and not so hilarious mistakes here and there, but overall, the art left a big impression in me. I suppose that's also why I started on this anime, the artwork. Now I can't say much else without spoiling the entire thing, so let's move on.
Okay, let me just say this, the seiyuus express so much emotion in the character. It was like I was there. But hey, all good seiyuus are trained to do that, so I suppose this is a plus for all animes out there.
The story. Well. I'll just say that the story far exceeded all of my expectations. I came in expecting a romance, a drama. What I got, was a shitload of plot twists, emotional trauma, some good ass action and adventures, and a whole bunch of sexual tension and booty calls.
Now THAT's what a good story is all about, in my opinion. The 'laying off' of some characters were necessary for the plot to move along. Although I sometimes have a feeling like I'm just being played in a loop by the author. It sometimes feels like the anime is moving forward, yet NOT moving forward at the same time.
I suppose this might just seem like another generic review boasting Shinsekai Yori's superiority over other animes to some of you readers, however, I believe that this is what it deserves. Screw being generic, I'll give the anime what it deserves. An Oscar, a Nobel Prize, whatever it wants. This, is just how good this anime was to me.

P.S: I'm not saying any reviewers here or in the world has a generic point of view. You simply agree that this anime is either good or bad. And we all have our own reasons. I'd love to see people who has seen the anime thanks to any of our reviews do a review of this anime. It's sensible to give your own opinion. Heck, I'd be proud if my review helped a person decide whether to watch anime or not. Well then~ Ciao~
