Story-1
Where to begin with this wreck of a narrative? How about how it's one of the most generic things I've ever laid eyes on. This story goes through the check list like it enjoys ticking those boxes for a 100%. It starts with a flashback years ago the world was one and some people could use magic. Then this evil guy tried to kill all non-magic users so the magic people split into 2 groups. The group that opposed Mr. Genocide (not his real name but all the characters are so generic that I forgot all their names and I'll be damned before I look them up) split the world into 2 parts 1 got wrecked and the magical people stayed there and the other was fine and the normal people stayed there. That is the basis of the story. Now some may be confused as to why its so low well that's because the real issues of the story come across from the characters so I'll talk about it there.

Characters-1 Oh God the HATRED I feel for all of these Characters. I have been waiting for some time to unleash the hatred I feel for these characters.
MC- Mr. Generic. Literally the most generic main character in anime history. Whiny, moody, always sad. There is nothing to like about him. Now the reasons why he's sad I understand and can accept. But all he ever is is sad. So even if it's justified it annoys me. The reason he's so moody is because his mom tried to get him to unknowingly kill his brother because she felt his brother was evil. Also his mom never showed him love.
SC1- Goofy Fire Ring Guy. Delinquent friend of MC. Generic and uninteresting. However in one episode this guy whose power is FIRE, is trapped in a sphere of ice. At no point does he make any attempt to use his power to escape and at no point are we given a reason why he can't use his powers. So all he did was cry for the MC to save him. It was stupid and honestly made me pissed.
SC2- Girl with Guns- Generic and underdeveloped.
SC3- Girl with lipstick container- See SC 2.
SC4- MC's brother- Weird, evil, underdeveloped and annoying.
SC5- MC's Mother- EVIL. She tried to kill her son because she thought he was evil. Showed no love to her sons.
Faction 1 "Good Guys"- You'll notice the quotation marks. Here's a list of things the good guys did: Genocide, Destroying a persons free will by changing their memories, kidnapping, threatening murder, extortion.
Faction 2 Bad Guys. Here's a list of the things they did: Attempted Genocide, Destroying a person's free will by messing with their memories.
I can only assume that the author was going for a both sides are really evil story where the MC would get an army of his own to beat both sides. If that was the attempt then it failed because THE MAIN CHARACTER IS GENERIC AS ALL HELL.
Enjoyment-1. I hated this.
Overall-1 The only anime I have given a 1 to so far. I hope it wears that with shame.
Oh and this is an amendment to my original review. The series ends with the MC GETTING SENT BACK IN TIME TO BEFORE THE WAR!!! Of all the stupid plot twists/sequel bait they could throw in they decide Time Travel, something that has only been done good in like one series (Back to the Future), is the way to go. My God the balls on these people to hope for a second season.
