Let's start;
- I found the second intro of the series (Baptize) to be excellent. Aside from that, most of the sound seemed acceptable/unexceptional. Props to the main character's Seiyuu, it is a woman that voices Chimeisha Sasha but she pulls it off quite well.

- The art and animation are sometimes very good but the show is chock full of animation shortcuts which is very disappointing. So I cannot recommend it on raw action.

- The premise is amazing. Using literal elemental powers (Iron, Sodium, Chloro, Bronze, etc.) in magical duels? yes please. The chemistry in the show was one of the best aspects simply because it is surprisingly accurate, of course it has much exaggeration but the base chemistry that they're using to explain a lot of their arguments for why something would work actually is substantiated. So if you are a chemistry nerd, this is a good reason to check it out.

- The gratuitous Russian culture/language was cute. Engrish + Japanese + (Attempts at) Russian = $$$

- And we get to the fanservice;
If you have a low tolerance for fanservice, do NOT watch this show. If you like fanservice or are indifferent like me, then know that it has enormous levels of fanservice. It is an ecchi show from beginning to end.

The general plot is obscured by the effing around the main characters do, but it has to do with an artifact being sought by an organization's members called The Adept. This is opposed by the main character's side which is Athos. So basically, two organizations fight for a McGuffin, fights and fanservice ensue.... it is a garbage plot, but the characterization is very good (Chimeisha Sasha is a great character) and the interpersonal relationships are also very strong.

I have not read the manga but I have heard that it has much less fanservice and much greater focus on story/characterization. I wish that they had stuck to that formula rather than what they did in the anime.

Overall, recommend to chemistry nerds that like/are indifferent to mass fanservice.
NOT recommend to people that do not care about chemistry or dislike fanservice.
