Despite knowing what these types of shows tend to do to me and that these circumstances, this type of love, these types of people, this type of setting is extremely unlikely to exist in real life. This show have now brought me to the same place I was after watching Clannad and Clannad: Afterstory. I feel numb and empty, but also in a weird way satisfied and relieved.

Most people won't feel as devastated as I did after watching this show, I'm sure. My own circumstances is intensifying these feelings a hundred times, but this show is incredibly beautiful. The music and animation quality is top notch. This show, will make your fingers move on their own whenever there's a piano scene. It will make shivers go down your spine whenever there's a concert scene. Regardless if you're a fan of that type of music beforehand.

The only other shows that have been able to evoke similar emotions in me is Clannad and Clannad: Afterstory, so if you enjoyed those. You're in for a treat.

Story: 10/10
I found the story to be very well written in the sense that in these types of shows, the pacing really is everything. You need to give people just enough time to digest, but not enough time to let their mind wander off somewhere else. This show in my opinion hit the nail on the head in that regard.

Art: 10/10
This is the best of the best. There's hardly any show that compares to how well this is drawn and animated in my opinion.

Sound: 10/10
It's an anime where music is very central to the plot, if the sound was off at all it would be a huge problem, so it's easy to see that they've really put in the effort on this point as well.

Character: 9/10
Like so many other animes, the characters are sometimes unnaturally dense when it comes to certain things. Which makes you cringe at certain scenes. Doesn't happen very often though. However other situations are surprisingly realistic compared to what I've come to expect from anime.

Enjoyment: 9/10
I really enjoyed this show a whole lot, however sometimes you just want to give the characters a push yourself because they are so slow at dealing with their problems. I guess I became sort of impatient at times.

Overall: 10/10
Anime characters tend to be dense in any anime, I suppose that's a necessary evil. Otherwise many animes which include romance would be over in no time. There really is nothing but good things to say about this anime. I'm sure others will find flaws, but I thoroughly enjoyed this show from start to finish with very few annoyances.
