I personally haven't read the manga, so my review is solely based on my experience in watching the anime. I wouldn't say there was anything special about the character designs; let's just say they're aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. There's this one character (Miyuki) whose character design is quite generic, yet she constantly receives praise for her beauty (I still don't get that). Then we have Tatsuya, Mr. OP (he's seriously one of the most OP anime characters I've ever come across). He's such a badass though. Anyway, throughout the story you will meet interesting characters, each with their own specialty and powers. The plot is quite interesting: it's set in an alternate universe in our world (alternate timeline), where magic is harnessed with the help of technology. The story focuses on a pair of siblings: Miyuki and Mr. OP, but other than that, the story isn't anything special (I would say one of the anime's weak points is how it handles the plot). There are a bunch of badass action scenes covered by Mr. OP in this anime, and there really needs to be a season 2 for this anime because there were quite a few plot holes. The soundtrack for this anime however is probably one of the most exhilarating and liveliest ones I've heard; a mix of electro beats, rap, and classical instrumentals that'll sure tickle your ears. This anime features quite an exciting world with an OP character, so if you're into OP characters, flawless fight scenes, and badass battle music, watch this anime. -flamingshitbag
