I actually created an account just to review The Seven Deadly Sins.

I've watched my fair share of animes, and this one tops the cake (so far anyway).

I was reading some of the reviews, and some I just do not agree with and think they don't go in-depth enough, so I wanted to write my own.

****(MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS)****
The Seven Deadly Sins is great. Point blank. It has a great story line and gives you tastes of background information a little at a time of each character so you can identify with them easier. It is a tear-jerker, comedy, and has a perverted take all in one. What more could you want?

I read a review where they said the characters' "markings" do not correspond with their personalities. This is, in fact, a lie.

Let's start with Meliodas. His sin is Wrath, which he portrays very well. He is the strongest of them all. He also has demon blood inside of him, and from what I can tell, he has a secret about him.

Elizabeth. She isn't part of the Seven Deadly Sins, but we do find out later that she is a goddess and she does have powers. Hence why she is very kind, helping, and soft. One of her known powers is healing.

Diane. Her sin is Envy. Her power has a strong connection with the Earth. (Hence "Green with Envy"). She is also very jealous of many things, especially when it comes to Meliodas and Elizabeth.

Ban. His sin is Greed. He is very greedy for the taste of blood. He loves conflict. Plus, he's immortal. Another example is in a background story of his when he was trying to take from the fountain of youth.

King. His sin is Sloth. He is a fairy king. He floats around with is pillow and is even seen sleeping. He does not engage in physical contact. Instead, he just uses hand movements to control his weapons. He is very weak in physical fist fighting. Hence his sloth nature.

Gowther. His sin is Lust. In one episode, he uses his powers to make a mob of fighters "fall in love" with himself, Ban, and Meliodas. He even saves Guila from transforming into a demon with, from what she says, the power of love.

Merlin. Her sin is Gluttony. We haven't experienced much of her character in the anime yet, along with the seventh unknown sin.

Would I recommend this anime to anyone? The question is obvious. Of course. And I've stated my reasons.
