If I had to describe School Days I would say it is the big red button that say "don't press" on it of anime. Previous watchers of School Days have labelled it as "don't press" out of the kindness of their hearts for us but then we watch it out of curiosity to find out why its so highly disliked.

Through watching school days I suffered a lot of mental anguish, I dinted my desk and bruised my hand in my frustration which this series induced upon me but I endured. The WTF ending brought me my satisfaction. Leaving me only to say to myself "ima, watashi wa manzukodeshita".

Story (3/10) Poor
The story was nothing really special it was just a highschool romance anime. It didn't have a good comedic aspect though they did try with the protagonists best friend, Taisuke though not to much prevail. It wasn't even that romantic protagonist Makoto just goes from girl to girl in his school having sex with them showing no maturity or commitment to any of them. So I guess it was more of a highschool harem? I dunno. I guess you can say the story is highschool guy tries to fulfil his sexual desires by having sex with as many girls as possible without showing any respect or commitment to the girls he has sex with or to anyone really.

Art (5/10) Mediocre
The art style of the series was just your stock standard style with no really impressive features but no poor quality either. It was just average which is why it gets a average score.

Sound (6/10) Fair
The sound was the best part of the series throughout its entirety. It wasn't anything spectacular but it was above average and consistently did it job without doing anymore than the bear minimum. So it nothing that I would recommend to download or listen through the OP's or the ED's for every episode, just like maybe the first two times it comes up because its not bad but its not great.

Characters (2/10) Dreadful
The characters were some off the worst characters I have come across in my entirety of watching anime. The likes of Makoto there was a moment where I didn't want to punch him in the face and what happens to him at the end satisfied me to great lengths. I have never hated anyone to the degree that I hated Makoto. He was self-centred, lustful sack of shit. Not only Makoto I can only think of three characters who I didn't want to die a slow excruciating death and they were Kotonoha, Setsuna and Taisuke.

First Kotonoha was one of the nicest and innocent people you could meet at the start though she wasn't that bright. The got treated like shit when she shouldn't have she was bullied by just about anyone who got screen time for the reason that she is shy. Her boyfriend Makoto was having sex with Kotonoha's only other friend behind her back. And then Kotonoha got tossed by Makoto after he was bored with her. Setsuna role was to play Sekai's best friend, Sekai being the girl who Makoto originally cheats on Kotonoha with. She was mean to Kotonoha but her goal was for Makoto to be with Sekai so Sekai will someone to be with Setsuna's gone. And Taisuke is the nice perverted best friend of Makoto.

Enjoyment (5/10) Mediocre
This was going to get a three but the ending just satisfied me so much I bumped it up to a five. And the ending is definitely up there with the Berserker ending. But for the ending to truly satisfy you, you need to endure the entire series.

Now on whether you should watch this series or not I say don't watch it. But in saying that if curiosity gets the better of you and you want to press the big red button that says "don't press" then watch the series then watch this series, that's what happened to me, I got to curious. If you are going to watch it then I recommend having good endurance.

For other recommendations I suggest Mirai Nikki for the crazy girlfriend aspect.

Oh btw Nice Boat
