Story: So the thing about Fairy Tail that I kinda realize now is that for a long time is was directed at children. I think thats what made it unbearable to some people, because it was aimed at children nobody ever died, some of the fights were kinda lame, and as someone else said The stakes aren't ever that high. However on the flip side of that coin Fairy Tail had some warm moments I mean come on guys #NaLu. Anyway some of the arcs were decent, The current arc that Fairy Tail is in (the Tarturous Arc) Is probably the best arc of the show because even though the drama is a bit cliche, Fairy Tail goes to a darker world that it hasn't before. However the show is actually quite repetitve from time to time. Fairy Tail suffers from the Shonen formula.
Art & Sound: I think the voices and everything was right on the mark. I have no complaints here
Characters: I'm first going to write about the character development and then I'm gonna write about the characters themselves. So one thing that any viewer who watches this has to remember is that the show isn't about Natsu. They creators aren't trying to develop Natsu. They are trying to develop Lucy. Which they really did if you think about it. Lucy goes from a girl who would always rely on her friends to fight her battles to being eager to fight her own. the best part about it was that it wasn't even subtle, it was nice and gradual. Anyway the character's themselves. Natsu even though I said that the show is supposed to focus on Lucy and this actually might contradict what I said earlier but the show focuses Solely on Natsu because he the strongest male. Now let me explain. Lucy is the person that the creator wanted to develop, which they did. The beginning of the show followed Lucy which it still does, but when it comes to battles it solely focuses on Natsu. Then we have Happy whose main purpose is comic relief. Gray who is supposed to be Natsu's rival however he is not because Natsu is always a rank about him. Then we have the titantia Erza who's sole purpose is fanservice and to be the most OP person in the god damned story.
Enjoyment: Overall I enjoyed Fairy tail it had some heart warming moments while it did have some I guess annoying moments.
