Noragami is defiantly not original. I say that it is a mix between Soul Eater and Kamisama Kiss but that is not really bad. The creators provided a nice anime even if the plot is quite normal and generic. If the anime was given more episodes then I think the story would develop much better and since I am caught up with the second season I can say that it is. Since there are only 12 episodes and 22 minutes with each episode, it is understandable that the story is quite underdeveloped.

The art is quite beautiful. The phantoms' designs are very nice and does well with giving the monsters a supernatural look. What really caught my eyes was when Yato would either summon something or destroy a phantom. Just looking at the ruins encrypted onto the animation was amazing. It gave him and other gods a heavenly glow. The style of the opening theme is really nice too. The monochrome animation with hints of color really works with the song that plays with it. It also makes every character unique with each character having a completely different eye color.

I LOVE the OST. I reminds me of the Danganronpa: Goodbye Despair OST which is amazing. I especially love the music that plays when Yato is about to kill a phantom. It gets me so pumped up and is so memorable. I am also addicted to the opening of the anime. Hello Sleepwalkers is a fun song in the anime and also if you just listen to it. The whole entire soundtrack is so memorable and I have listened to the soundtrack alone and I can tell you that some of the songs made me want to hide under my bed because of how dark and creepy it was.
Characters:7
It is mostly made up of generic characters which is pretty boring. I find Hiyori quite annoying at times and even Yato. I wished they explored more into Yukine; his character really did interest me. I do give the creators credit to be able to show the audience how close the threesome were. There were many times where I would just smile at the fun that the three were having together. I really enjoyed the God of Poverty's, Kofuku, character. I had some problems with Tenjin's character and found myself very confused at what I thought of him. I would love him sometimes but at other times I would want to kill him. I really like the character designs of all of the characters but especially Yukine's outfit with his cute beanie and blue hoodie.
In concludsion, Noragami is an okay anime that could of done better if it was longer. Good thing that Noragami Aragoto came out because this anime deserves it.
